ARREST FOLLOWING SERIOUS INCIDENT IN NORTON CANES

We have arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder after a woman was stabbed in Norton Canes. 

We were called at 8.50am this morning (Friday 3 July) to reports a woman had been stabbed by a man inside a house on Hawthorn Drive. The man then left the house. 

Officers have arrested a 49-year-old man, from Bloxwich, in Bloxwich, on suspicion of attempted murder. 

He remains in custody.
